Don't Die with Your Music Still Inside
On this special day, my thoughts drift to the remarkable leaders who have left an indelible mark on the world. Think of Lao Tzu, Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King Jr., Albert Einstein, Wayne Dyer, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Queen Victoria, and Mother Teresa. These extraordinary individuals had the courage to share their inner "music," their unique talents and visions, with the world. And the world is better for it.
Letting Go of Old Beliefs
The passing years have taught me to shed the limitations I once placed on myself. I've learned to live in the here and now, embracing the beauty of the present moment. This shift has ushered in newfound happiness and opportunities that hold genuine meaning for me.
Problems as Stepping Stones
Challenges and obstacles? I've come to see them as stepping stones rather than stumbling blocks. When we rise, dust ourselves off, and face our problems, we tap into a profound love and strength that resides in each of us. And suddenly, those "problems" transform into opportunities for growth.
Life's Steering Wheel is in Your Hands
The haunting question from Leo Tolstoy's "The Death of Ivan Ilyich"—“What if my whole life has been wrong?”—has prompted deep reflection. It's a vivid reminder that we should never settle for a life that doesn't resonate with our innermost desires and aspirations. Seize the wheel of your life and steer it toward your dreams.
If my reflections strike a chord with you, I invite you to journey with me in this ever-evolving story of life. You can learn more and subscribe to my mailing list.
Here's to another year of living authentically and letting our inner music play!
